Job description

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to build your career in purchasing and supply chain operations? We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support procurement activities, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely ordering of materials and supplies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an onsite role in Tulsa, OK.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate purchase orders for supplies, materials, and raw goods.
  • Maintain detailed purchasing records, including quantities, pricing, shipping information, and associated costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment purchases as needed.
  • Track incoming materials and verify that orders are received accurately and on time.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, compare quotes, and maintain vendor information.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to process purchase requests and obtain required approvals.
  • Assist with vendor relations, bid requests, and sourcing activities.
  • Communicate order status, inventory concerns, and purchasing updates
  • Complete reports and assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate electronic purchasing records and support ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. Completion of some college coursework preferred. Bachelor's degree a plus.
  • 1+ years of purchasing or inventory experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
