Reports To: SVP of Construction
Location: Sperber Construction - Thonotassa, FL
Position Summary
The Purchaser is responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and supplies to support branch operations. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, accurate inventory, and timely delivery to job sites.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create purchase orders and process material requests.
  • Source and evaluate vendors for pricing and availability.
  • Track and confirm deliveries and backorders.
  • Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams to meet job site timelines.
  • Assist with inventory control and cost reporting.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
  • Knowledge of landscape/construction materials highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP or purchasing software.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
