About the Role
The primary focus of this position is to lead purchasing and procurement efforts for select projects, helping ensure each buyout is well-planned, competitive, aligned with project goals, and executed with strong attention to scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the purchasing process for select projects, from bid preparation through contract execution.
• Build, strengthen, and maintain trusted subcontractor relationships.
• Partner with Estimating and Operations to align purchasing strategies with project needs.
• Develop and maintain the bid site to support clear communication and efficient bid management.
• Draft detailed trade scopes of work that support accurate pricing and reduce project risk.
• Request, receive, analyze, and manage bids against project budgets.
• Lead descope meetings and support thoughtful decision-making during the buyout process.
• Draft GMP-related purchasing documentation and support cost alignment.
• Prepare and move trade partners through the contracting process.
• Identify and help manage procurement-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the team by contributing to a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts that make Dimeo stronger, more efficient, and better positioned to serve our clients.
