Job description

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will lead, manage, and direct the plant's Material Planning team to ensure optimal raw material availability, inventory health, and production schedule attainment. You will drive system adoption, master data integrity, and advanced analytics to support supply chain transformation goals. You will develop and maintain processes that ensure timely material flow within working capital guidelines while leveraging enterprise systems and data-driven decision-making.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Direct, coach, and develop a team of Material Planners to promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, training, and development opportunities

  • Act as a change agent for system adoption, process standardization, and digital transformation at the plant

  • Ensure effective use of SAP and Power BI for material planning, inventory management, and reporting activities

  • Lead master data governance including validation, cleansing, and ongoing maintenance of material, supplier, and planning data

  • Partner with Manufacturing and Operations Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Procurement, Transportation, Warehousing, and Operations to align planning processes

  • Collaborate with the Supply Planning Center of Excellence to uphold data quality standards and support enterprise initiatives

  • Drive adoption of analytics and reporting tools including dashboards and exception-based planning to enable proactive decision-making

  • Support automation and process improvement initiatives using digital tools

  • Manage working capital by monitoring inventory levels, analyzing variances, and executing action plans to meet targets

  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Finance to manage obsolete, aged, and suspect materials including disposition and removal

  • Partner with Research and Development, Quality, and corporate purchasing teams on new product introductions and vendor transitions

  • Communicate material risks and contingency plans to plant leadership and cross-functional partners

  • Facilitate supplier quality and service improvements using data and analytics

  • Develop and maintain reporting capabilities to monitor key performance indicators, inventory health, and planning effectiveness

  • Benchmark plant performance and lead continuous improvement efforts

  • Lead and participate in projects related to planning modernization, system enhancements, and process optimization

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in material planning, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain systems

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP and Power BI

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization and external partners

Compensation

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
