Shared Services and Purchasing Manager

Osaic is not considering remote candidates at this time.  

Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located at one of our hubs listed above and must be willing to work this schedule.  

Role Type: Full-time  

Salary:  $120,000 - $140,000 per year + annual bonus

Summary:  

The Shared Services and Purchasing Manager will provide the daily oversight and delivery of all services and purchasing for the complete organization.  Responsible for managing the delivery, category of spend, and the suppliers for shared services including but not limited to travel, expense management, logistics, mail services, office supplies, breakroom management, shredding, supplier relationship management, and the like for the organization.  Ensure services and delivery of service are aligned with company objectives and expectations.  In addition, responsible for managing the Purchasing function aligning purchase orders with contractual obligations.  Ensure purchase order management is effective and efficient with matching invoices and PO changes to the business requirements of the company. Responsible for managing the onboarding of new groups to our services and purchasing requirements through acquisitions and mergers.   

Education Requirements:  

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in a Business-Related Field, High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required with applicable experience.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage a team supporting the delivery of shared services and purchasing support across the Organization. 

  • Manage the categories of shared services, develop and execute those strategies, ensure the development and execution is in alignment with company objectives. 

  • Manage and provide oversight on the travel services with the on-line booking tool, travel management company, and the expense reporting tool.   

  • Manage the processes, systems, tools, workflows, and procedures for efficient transacting and processes to maximize the user experience. 

  • Manage acquisitions effectively by onboarding new groups to our systems and processes. 

  • Continuously evaluate our shared services providers and ensure their performance meets our standards and expectations. Resolve necessary issues and ensure our providers are aligned with our objectives. 

  • Provide general management responsibilities with team members. 

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment.

Basic Requirements:  

  • 10 years of relevant work experience in leading Purchasing and Shared Services management functions. 

  • 10 years of experience with relevant Financial Services Industry Experience. 

  • 10 years of Supervisory/Managerial roles. 

Preferred Requirements:  

  • Industry Certifications, CPM, APICS, CPSM, CSPM, Certified Travel Expert (CTE) etc... 

  • 15 plus years of leading Shared Services and Purchasing experience  

  • 15 plus years of experience in the Financial Services Industry 

  • Demonstrated experience with implementing or re-implementing shared services and purchasing functions
