We have an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career supply chain professional looking to build a strong foundation for growth in inventory planning, purchasing, vendor management, and supply chain analytics.  

What we need:

Natco Home is seeking an Inventory Planner and Purchasing Coordinator to join our Purchasing & Supply Chain team at our corporate headquarters in West Warwick, RI. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience managing inventory, coordinating with international suppliers, analyzing business trends and inventory data, and supporting purchasing activities that directly impact product availability and customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with experienced supply chain professionals while collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Warehouse teams to support business goals and drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze inventory levels and demand trends to support product availability and service goals 
  • Plan, create, and manage purchase orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels across product categories 
  • Work directly with overseas suppliers to coordinate production schedules, shipments, and order fulfillment 
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, service, delivery, and overall supply chain efficiency 
  • Track inventory metrics and recommend actions to improve replenishment efficiency and inventory accuracy 
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support purchasing and supply chain decisions 
  • Partner with Warehouse, Sales, and Customer Service teams to coordinate deliveries and support customer demand 
  • Expedite and track purchase orders to ensure timely product availability 
  • Review and validate purchase order, invoice, and shipping documentation for accuracy
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and purchasing reports 
  • Support department projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Provide cross-functional support and assist with other duties as assigned


What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, operations, or a related field preferred
  • Internship or professional experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory planning, logistics, or related areas preferred 
  • Understanding of purchasing, inventory management, or vendor management principles
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends to support business decisions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs with Intermediate Excel experience required
