Job description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Purchasing and Production Mana, full-time at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.

Primary Functions:

  • Responsible for the accounts purchasing department.
  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet business requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all planning, quotes and purchasing functions to ensure timely delivery of items/supplies.
  • Works with entire team in communicating needs to run business profitably whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively liaises with suppliers to ensure products and costs meet business goals.
  • Ensures corrective action plans are documented and instituted quickly for all performance levels under standard.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory levels of supplies and equipment for all departments.
  • Serves as the locations Manager-on-Duty on an as needed basis.
  • Oversees accounts work order needs and follows up with the facilities team accordingly.
  • Conducts the weekly PAM (Purchase Accountability Monitor) meetings
  • Responsible for weekly inventory at Davison Dining Hall

Additional Requirements:

  • Working catered events There are yearly reoccurring events that require everyone to work (all hands-on deck). Positions fluctuate and you will be serving or assisting in the kitchen as needed.
  • Working in the dish room as needed.
  • Assisting stations in the dining hall as needed.
  • Full time/non-academic team members will be required to help with any and all positions during the summer months to secure employment.
  • This can include working utility, serving, helping in the kitchen, catering, large cleaning projects, etc.
  • Complete trainings in ADP as assigned.
