Silgan Closures is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for our Hazleton, PA, manufacturing facility. In this leadership role, you will oversee Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Materials, Human Resources, and Finance. You will guide daily operations, support department leaders, and ensure the plant meets goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and workforce performance.Hazleton produces a wide range of metal closures that support many of our core customers across the dairy, beverage, juice, sauce, and household product industries. The plant produces multiple closure sizes and styles, including continuous-thread and tamper-evident options, with both lined and linerless designs that help ensure product freshness, safety, and optimal performance. What You Will Do as a Plant Manager Manage plant operations across production, maintenance, quality, materials, and human resources to ensure goals are met for safety, product quality, on-time delivery, and cost control.Promote a zero-incident safety culture and ensure compliance with Silgan's safety policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to position the plant as a cost-effective, high-performing producer.Establish and manage budgets, cost controls, and continuous improvement programs to achieve financial and operational targets.Drive a results-oriented management culture by defining accountabilities, monitoring performance, and developing high-performing teams.Partner with Quality and Procurement to ensure production and purchased materials meet or exceed customer requirements.Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork through open communication and participative leadership.Support food safety and product safety systems within the plant.Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Operations leadership.
