Job description

JHI Auto Company is seeking a Towing Dispatcher / Site Manager to join our team in the Plains / Greater Wilkes Barre area. The right candidate will be well organized and capable of working in a fast-paced setting. The position requires the coordination of the purchase of end-of-life vehicles from start to finish. This includes answering phones, pricing vehicle, validating the vehicle owner’s paperwork, generating payment, proper record keeping of transactions, timely dispatch and accurate inventory management.


Responsibilities:

·         Complete responsibility for all facets of daily site operations for six days a week operation

·         Coordinate both residential and commercial pick-ups of end-of-life vehicles

·         Manage fleet of rollback trucks and drivers including the proper maintenance of all vehicles and equipment

·         Effectively manage incoming phone calls

·         Maintain excellent customer service levels

·         Purchase vehicles within the set company guidelines

·         Properly use systems to record and track flow of vehicles

·         Hire/Terminate office staff and rollback drivers as needed

·         Report results to the owner

·         Keep grounds and facilities clean and orderly

·         Work closely with other site managers

·         Other duties as directed
