The location in Rothschild, (Wisconsin, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Procurement & Site Services Manager. This job is full-time permanent.
Position Summary:
This position reports to the Purchasing Manager. Provides contracted service procurement functions mill wide, supports SAP P90 procurement functions, coordinates plant contracted services, manages specified mill material vendors and creates analytical spend reports. It is the frontline leadership for mill truck drivers and plant services teams. Work is performed onsite and not eligible for remote work scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Point of contact for mill wide contracted services including but not limited to janitorial, waste management, pest control, snow removal and lawn care vendors,
  • Oversees Plant Services & Truck Driving crews' daily activities and performance,
  • Reviews and processes purchase requests,
  • Resolves invoice issues,
  • Interviews suppliers to obtain information regarding product, market trends, price, service, and delivery.
  • Sources contracted services and negotiated vendor contracts,
  • Prepares and publishes specifications for bids, evaluates bid responses,
  • Verifies history of supplier services and determines the supplier's ability to meet contract specifications,
  • conducts market research and leads cost reduction initiatives,
  • Provides advanced excel based analytical reporting for key initiatives,
  • Conducts daily staff meetings to review key business initiatives and safety topics,
  • Assists maintenance planners, coordinators and engineers in work order placement/parts ordering/service requisitioning and expediting as needed,
  • Other administrative duties related to services as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business related field and/or 5+ years of on-the-job experience in industrial services and component procurement.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in an industrial setting (union environment preferred).
  • Working knowledge of SAP P90 or newer with preference to procurement and reporting is desired.
  • Demonstrated advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills for reporting and data analysis.
  • Oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with outside resources including cross functional teams
