Job description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data in PRMS and providing support as needed in the inventory department. This requires daily counting and adjustments of packaging, film, raw and finished goods inventories.
Schedule: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm - Saturday off
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurate inventory of finished goods, raw materials, packaging, film.
  • Accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.
  • Follow proper documentation procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Interface with production, warehouse, scheduling, etc., as needed.
  • Inventory variance review, research, and explanations needed.
  • Follow-up on findings of that research s corrective actions where appropriate. This also includes MUV research and reports as required or requested by the accounting department of Inventory Manager.
  • Maintain files so that they are readily available for review.
  • Communicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing and Transportation team on a regular basis (proactive communication and information sharing as needed).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer knowledge: MS Word and Excel
  • Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Operate a Sit-down and Stand-up Forklift
  • Workdays or nights and weekends as necessary
  • Work in cold environment (under 34 degrees)
  • Work in wet environment with prolonged standing, noise exposure, and climbing stairs, frequent bending.
