Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to implement and maintain scanner and barcode procedures, enabling accurate physical inventory counts within MRO and system-based inventory management.
  • Work with Purchasing and MRO management members to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained for all company supplies and consumables.
  • Provide support or execute to the Purchasing team for order placement, delivery tracking, follow-up, and acknowledgment of receipt. Liaise with other departments to facilitate the on-time delivery of procured items.
  • Implementation and ongoing maintenance of 5S practices across the desk, the MRO area, the Purchasing/Sales department  allocated server space.  Overseeing the management of all customer and supplier information.

Cost reduction initiatives via periodic purchase price reviews.

  • Collaborate with other internal departments to research alternative sources and substitute products, confirm quality, and investigate appropriate pricing for purchased items.
  • Coordinating import/export logistics from domestic and international suppliers, including collaboration and follow-up with freight forwarders.
  • In the Sales department, being responsible for obtaining up-to-date information through close customer communication and sharing it promptly within the company, or providing support for these tasks.
  • In response to customer demands, supplying information, quotes, and necessary documents by the set deadlines, or providing support for these tasks.
  • All other duties as assigned.
