Position Summary
Department Summary
The Behavioral Social Sciences Department offers degrees in Applied Psychology, MS in Marriage and Family Therapy and MS in Applied Behavior Analysis. Specifically, the clinic operations support our MS ABA students, faculty research and the local community.

Position Summary
The Administrative Program Specialist (Clinic Manager) works under the direction of the Clinic Director to provide essential managerial support to the Associate Clinic Director, students, and other staff. The Clinic Manager will coordinate daily operations for BRIDGE Center. Duties of this position include:
1. Providing quality customer service, interfacing with patients, doctors offices, vendors, and staff
2. Ensuring the clinic follows all legal and regulatory processes for insurance billing and other reimbursement
3. Clinic operations related to day to day management of appointments, phone calls, emails and other inquiries
4. Budget management, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Two years of experience as an administrative specialist or executive support specialist which included administrative support for a project, program, or operation. Administrative support includes those duties beyond clerical/secretarial such as: interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; administrative data collection and analysis; and evaluation of projects, processes, and operations; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
One year of post-secondary education may be substituted for up to one year of the experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Office 365, Teams, etc
  • Experience with medical billing
  • Able to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality
  • Highly organized with the ability to pivot to new tasks quickly
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to learn software quickly

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with database management
  • Two years experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with children and/or individuals with disabilities
