Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping Expeditor to join our Team! This role will be responsible for obtaining order status, tracking deliveries, and updating order records for our site in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, production planning, and supply chain management, with a proven ability to align resources to meet production goals efficiently

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase orders from issuance through delivery.
  • Maintain accurate purchase order status information within the ERP system.
  • Maintain regular communication with Vendors to obtain updates on order status, delivery scheduled and any potential delays.
  • Identify and address potential problems with shipments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that materials are available when needed.
  • Support inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material movement activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an aerospace environment.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Experience using production planning systems.
  • Self-motivation, flexibility of job duties, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Blend of technical, interpersonal skills, and continuous learning skills.
  • Computer literate.
