The Building Services Planner & Materials Coordinator supports the safe and efficient operation of the Indianapolis site by planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and facility work for the Building Services group. This role manages work orders in the eMaint CMMS, coordinates purchasing through SAP and external vendors, oversees maintenance inventory and materials, and ensures work is properly planned, resourced, documented, and completed. The onsite position partners closely with maintenance teams, site stakeholders, and contractors to support facility operations, maintenance reliability, and continuous improvement efforts.

What You'll Do:
  • Plan, prioritize, schedule, and track preventive, corrective, and project-related maintenance work.
  • Manage work orders within the eMaint CMMS, ensuring accurate documentation and completion.
  • Review work requests for scope, priority, labor, materials, and vendor requirements.
  • Maintain CMMS data, including assets, inventory, materials, and work order records.
  • Purchase parts, tools, equipment, and services through SAP and approved vendors.
  • Track purchase orders, deliveries, and material availability to support maintenance schedules.
  • Manage maintenance inventory, parts storage, stocking, cycle counts, and material issuance.
  • Coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure safe, timely, and compliant work completion.
  • Communicate work status, scheduling needs, material delays, and risks to maintenance leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement of maintenance planning, inventory management, and CMMS processes.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and site procedures.

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, operations, planning/scheduling, purchasing, inventory, or a related field.

What Skills You Need:
  • Experience using a CMMS for work order, maintenance, or inventory management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Experience with SAP purchasing and materials management.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and external service providers.
  • Experience managing maintenance inventory or storerooms.
  • Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance trades.
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent training.
