Inventory, Receiving & Sales Associate – Shore Shot Pistol RangeShore Shot Pistol Range is looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated Inventory, Receiving & Sales Associate to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys keeping things organized, and is also comfortable working directly with customers. The role will focus primarily on receiving merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory, stocking and merchandising products, while also assisting customers on the sales floor when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming shipments of firearms, ammunition, accessories, and other merchandise
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and invoices for accuracy
  • Enter received merchandise accurately into our inventory/POS system
  • Properly receive, record, tag, and organize firearms and other serialized merchandise
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and help investigate discrepancies
  • Stock and organize merchandise on the sales floor and in back-stock areas
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and audits
  • Help maintain appropriate stock levels and identify products that need to be reordered
  • Work with management to identify slow-moving, low-stock, and high-demand merchandise
  • Maintain a clean and highly organized receiving and inventory area
  • Assist customers with firearms, ammunition, accessories, and other products
  • Provide knowledgeable, friendly, and professional customer service
  • Process retail transactions and assist with firearm sales and transfers
  • Follow all company procedures and applicable federal, state, and local firearms regulations
  • Assist with other store and range operations as needed
What We're Looking For

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and inventory software
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Comfortable working in both a warehouse/receiving environment and on a retail sales floor
  • Previous inventory, receiving, warehouse, or retail experience preferred
  • Firearms and shooting-sports knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Ability to safely lift and move boxes of ammunition and merchandise
  • Willingness to learn our products, systems, and procedures
  • Availability to work weekends and/or evenings when needed
