Job Summary:

  • The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials between the internal warehouse and a 3rd-party warehouse.
  • This role involves managing the timely delivery of materials to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations, reviewing on-site inventory, cross-checking with production forecasts, and placing accurate orders from the 3rd-party warehouse to meet production demands.
  • The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between the warehouses and the manufacturing team, ensuring that materials are consistently available and that inventory is kept in alignment with production needs.

Job Duties:

Logistics Coordination:

  • Ensure materials are delivered on time from the 3rd-party warehouse to the internal warehouse
  • Coordinate daily shipments and ensure all logistics meet production schedules
  • Track and manage shipments, including communication with warehouse partners regarding any delays or issues
  • Resolve logistical issues quickly to avoid production delay

Inventory Management:

  • Liaise with the inventory team at the internal warehouse to monitor on site inventory (quantity and accuracy

Forecasting and Planning:

  • Work closely with the scheduling team to understand production schedules and future material requirements
