Majors Plastics is looking to hire a Purchasing Coordinator. The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for analyzing inventories and accurately placing purchase orders with suppliers. Schedule:ย Monday โ€“ Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Position Responsibilities

1. Accurately process and maintain purchase orders in a timely and effective manner.

2. Use MRP system to plan and schedule delivery dates and quantities of material to support inventory and production requirements.

3. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate data as it relates to costs, payment terms, vendor information and other pertinent documents.

4. Manage Indirect Spend Categories and Commodities Purchasing

5. Work with Accounting to reconcile invoice variances.

6. Assist with shipping functions pertaining to claims and scheduling shipments.

1. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

2. Ability to handle multiple projects and sustain purchasing day-to-day procurement activities.

3. Minimum of (3) years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

4. Experience using MRP system.
