Job Title – Inventory Coordinator

Location – Jamaica Plain, MA

Shift Available – (12:00 PM - 20:30 PM) M-F

Pay Rate – ($25/hr. - $27/hr.) on W2.

Responsibilities:

  • The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring the accuracy of stock records, and coordinating inventory-related activities to support efficient business operations. This role involves tracking inventory movements, coordinating with various departments (e.g., purchasing, sales, production), and implementing inventory control procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control: Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storage, and issuance of materials, products, or equipment.
  • Accuracy & Auditing: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stock Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages (stockouts) and excesses (overstocking), and make recommendations for stock adjustments.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately record all inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments, returns) using inventory management software (ERP system); generate and analyze reports on stock levels, usage, and turnover rates.

40 hours per week
