ABOUT THE ROLE
The Transportation Estimating Coordinator is responsible for assisting in preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of pre-qualifications and/or full proposals on large/small and complex projects as required by client documents. The Coordinator is also responsible for creating/maintaining bid calendar for visual representation of in-process and future projects.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of proposal responses for potential clients
  • Prepare and maintain bid board/calendar and ensures timely completion of estimates for electric construction projects
  • Prepare pre-qualification statements
  • Prepare and maintain bid logs
  • Attend departmental meetings as required
  • Provide general project support to senior project professionals
  • Prepare and submit expense reports as needed
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties including data entry and file management
  • Monitor key websites for bidding opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of contracting or construction office experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Associates degree in relevant field such as Construction Management, Business Administration or similar discipline is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Bluebeam, InDesign and/or relevant technologies
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support multiple project managers/estimators
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional client interactions before and after bid time

  • Salary $48,000-$70,000 / year
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
