Purchasing Department Manager - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00571 Salary Range: $90k - $120k Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee corporate purchasing operations, manage inventory, and maintain critical vendor relationships. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience within the electrical industry to optimize technical supply chains, streamline procurement processes, and ensure seamless project execution. Responsibilities Direct daily procurement operations, establish efficient purchasing workflows, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs). Sourcing, negotiating, and cultivating strategic relationships with electrical equipment suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality materials. Oversee inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and prevent supply shortages across active engineering projects. Monitor market trends to forecast material availability, mitigate supply chain risks, and optimize procurement lead times. Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to align purchasing schedules with project timelines. Manage the procurement budget, audit purchase orders, and deliver cost-savings analysis reports to executive leadership. Qualifications Proven professional background within the electrical industry (required).
