Monday through Friday, 8 30 am to 5 00 pm.

Purchasing Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the purchasing department through ordering and tracking.
- Keep records of orders, pricing, ETA updates, tracking information, etc.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Communicate with vendors for order status, lead times, and quality concerns.
- Work closely with many internal departments to provide pricing and lead time information and other help depending on work loads.
- Assist with report building and review related to purchasing activities.
- Identify and resolve order, vendor or process issues.
Purchasing Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior purchasing, order management, customer service, administrative, or related experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills to work with vendors and across all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
- AS400 us preferred but not required.
