General Responsibilities

Since 1983, Vehrs Distributing has been on a mission to create and deliver the finest premium wine and spirits portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. As we expand our offerings to include non-alcoholic beverages and reach more clients in the Western Washington region, we're looking for an experienced, results-driven Purchasing Coordinator / Associate Buyer. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role supports procurement operations through administrative purchasing support, PO Maintenance, shipment tracking, supplier communication, and inventory system coordination.


Essential Functions

  • Create and maintain purchase orders
  • Track inbound ships and supplier follow-up
  • Maintain inventory records and ERP updates
  • Support item setup and reporting processes
  • Coordinate inbound documentation
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. 
  • Competent with mobile devices, email, and basic computer applications.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.

Compensation

This is a full-time position that pays $25/hr.
