Job Description
Purchasing Supervisor will manage the workflow of the Buyers, schedules/coverage and delegating tasks,
They will assess work performance while ensuring goals, deadlines, policy and procedures and performance standards, KPIs, are met,
Training and onboarding new hires as well as educating existing staff and conducting competency sessions and testing,
Execute new initiatives and projects while adhering to deadlines and budgets,
Resource for staff to help and direct the resolution of issues and workflow roadblocks and stoppages,
Maintain daily buyer responsibilities,
Qualifications
Associates degree or 5 years of equivalent Purchasing experience with 1 year experience in a lead or supervisory capacity,
Strongly prefer experience within healthcare industry,
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel,
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and formulas, balance and reconcile figures, possess good communication both written and verbal skills,
Experience with ERP systems, PeopleSoft strongly preferred,

Proactively assist with escalations from Supply Chain departments to address process and payment issues,
