There are many facets to our company including product development, sales, operations, precision technology and manufacturing just to name a few.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Purchasing Associate for Helena's Equipment and Fleet Services team performs a variety of equipment and fleet-related functions for our field locations. This includes processing expense invoices and maintaining records of those transactions. This position also serves as the main location contact for maintenance and repair invoices that are non-budget transactions.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Communicates with vendors and field locations to ensure timely payments.
  • Sets up new vendors to receive payments.
  • Researches and resolves vendor statements each month.
  • Scans all processed DOT truck and trailer invoices into the Content Manager system.
  • Prepares equipment and fleet parts and service invoices for manager approval.
  • Ensures that invoices are coded with the proper GL for expense records.
  • Submits approved expense invoices through Kofax to Accounting for payment.
  • Submits capital budget equipment invoices to Accounting for payment.
  • Keeps a log of all capital budget equipment invoices submitted.
  • Verifies in Oracle that all submitted invoices have been paid.
  • Performs responsibilities including data entry, mass mailings, copying, and filing.
  • Assists in coordination and planning of team meetings and events.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by your leader.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree or two years of experience is required.
  • One year of agricultural business experience is preferred.
  • Training will be provided.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
  • Ability to travel by various means to meetings, trade shows and locations less than 5% of the time is required.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license is required to drive a company vehicle. Must be able to meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
  • Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.

Successful completion of a drug test and background checkis required for all positions at Helena.

The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
