Purchasing Assistant

Adecco is now hiring for one of the largest technology companies, and this is your chance to work with them in Ventura County!

The Purchasing Assistant is in charge of starting the search for suppliers, analyzing offers, carrying out the administrative purchase process and following up until the invoice is paid to the supplier.
Responsibilities:

· Reviews purchase requests, develops supply sources, prepares bid specifications and bid requests.

· Reviews departmental purchase requisitions to verify completeness and accuracy of information.

· Identifies proper and reliable sources to fulfill internal customer needs described by Purchasing requisitions on time.

· Supports the sourcing buyer in activities related to cost reduction.

· Assists the buyer by following the global strategy.

· Assists the buyer in reviewing commercial contracts.

· Organizes deliveries and supplies in order to fulfill internal/ production requirements.

· Follows-up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.

· Works with internal customers to review spare part drawings and specifications to provide sourcing recommendations to meet business needs.

· Assists members of the procurement team carry out their role/duties with various administrative tasks.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED required

· 1-3 years of experience of Purchasing

· Possess strong organizational skills, planning and time management skills to achieve results.

· Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Shifts are available from Monday – Friday, 5:30 am – 2:00 pm
