About The Role
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Purchasing team as our Assistant Purchasing Manager. In this role, you will support the seamless coordination of Purchasing, Receiving, and Storeroom operations, ensuring every department is thoughtfully equipped to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding our commitment to precision, efficiency, and service excellence.
What You Will Do
  • Supervise and collaborate with the Receiving and Storeroom teams to ensure all incoming goods are properly documented, dated, priced, and rotated in accordance with Four Seasons standards, while supporting the timely and accurate fulfillment of requisitions to meet operational needs across the hotel.
  • Ensure full compliance with all local and corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls within the Purchasing function while verifying that all purchase requests are accurately documented, properly approved, and completed prior to the creation of purchase orders and procurement of goods.
  • Contribute to month-end, quarterly, and annual inventory processes for food, beverage, and operating equipment, while ensuring all incoming goods are accurately issued, stored, priced, and rotated. Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing par standards with on-hand quantities to support the hotel's operational needs with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly Accounts Payable, to proactively identify and resolve billing and invoice discrepancies, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and adherence to financial standards.

What You Bring
  • 2-4 years of Purchasing experience- Hotel experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost analysis and management, with the ability to identify efficiencies and support sound financial decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls, including their purpose and importance in safeguarding assets and ensuring operational integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel quality and service standards, with a commitment to upholding brand excellence in every interaction.
  • A genuine passion for service, consistently delivering thoughtful, professional, and guest-focused support.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
