Job description

We’re looking to hire a Purchasing Agent to support purchasing and inventory operations across multiple locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the tire industry and wants to put that knowledge to work in a purchasing-focused role.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of tire industry knowledge and purchasing/inventory experience. However, a strong understanding of tires, products, and the industry is especially important for this position.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Manage purchasing and inventory for assigned tire and product lines
  • Create, update, and maintain purchase orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and analyze purchasing trends to help ensure the right products are available when needed
  • Work closely with internal teams regarding product shortages, pricing changes, new products, and special requests
  • Communicate with vendors and help maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and product records
  • Assist with inventory forecasting and purchasing decisions
  • Respond to inventory questions and concerns from multiple locations
  • Work across multiple purchasing, inventory, and business software systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing and inventory processes

Who We're Looking For:

  • Strong tire industry knowledge and experience is highly preferred
  • 2–3+ years of experience in purchasing, receiving, inventory management, or a related role preferred
