Purpose We are looking for a dynamic process manager to help make schools safer by improving our products availability through Group Purchasing Organizations and state purchasing vehicles. The Group Purchasing Organization Manager will maintain our existing relationships and agreements with GPO’s and state purchasing entities as well as seek out opportunities to establish new agreements with new organizations. The primary objective is to leverage existing GPO and Coop relationships to shorten the sales cycle of our products to the members of these organizations and maintain current product and pricing information. This role requires a unique blend of strategic sourcing expertise, diplomatic stakeholder management, and transparent financial reporting.


Position Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product to develop and maintain product and pricing data with the contracts and organizations we are currently in agreements with.
  • Work with the Sales leadership team to identify additional cooperatives and similar organizations we may wish to list our products and services with.
  • Recruit and onboard new member organizations to increase availability of products to as broad a market as possible.
  • Ensure compliance with the rules of existing agreements and maintain regular reporting for these coops, GPO’s, and state agencies in cooperation with Accounting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing organizations ensuring compliances with existing agreements.
  • Be the primary contact for questions relating to rebates owed to GPO partners.
  • Partner with Accounting to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Attend GPO conferences at least twice a year.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or other related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, or related field with at least 2 years specifically involved with relationships with GPO’s or Cooperatives.
  • Deep understanding of the Cooperative business model.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of E-Procurment tools.
  • Strong organizational and process development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain cross functional relationships.
  • The ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with our partner organizations.
