Summary:
As a key member of the purchasing team, you will collaborate with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and inventory data. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure procedures are being used for inventory control, warehouse storage and distribution of products.
  • Assists with receiving and storage of product among large, centralized warehouse areas of venue.
  • Monitor inventory on a daily basis to ensure proper-on hand inventory is available to meet demands of the operation.
  • Coordinate with purchasing manager regarding orders.
  • Assist with coordination of movement of product among venue, including but not limited to: distribution of product to bars, kitchens and service stations, batching of cocktails and private events.
  • Use storage systems and procedures to ensure maximum use and efficiency of space and storage areas.
  • Submit reports of damage, outdated product, over & under shipments to the purchasing manager.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning of the dock area and storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Experience:
  • High school diploma
  • Food & Beverage and/or restaurant experience required
  • At least two years of experience in Food and Beverage atmosphere conducting inventory procedures
  • Must be able to lift 50lb of product at a time without assistance
  • Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holiday
