The PSG Pharmacy Solutions Group of Ohio is currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Purchasing Manager.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of purchasing pharmaceutical products and supplies, ensuring efficient inventory management, cost control, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves collaborating with the Director of Purchasing, pharmacy staff, vendors, and other departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and support the pharmacy's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing Management:
    • Oversee the procurement of medications, medical supplies, and pharmacy equipment.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
    • Monitor market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Inventory Control:
    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of essential medications while minimizing excess stock.
    • Implement inventory management systems and practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
    • Conduct regular audits of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
