Role:

Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, this positionis responsible forreceiving delivery associates back into the warehouse, processingpaperworkand customer returns.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer credits are coded correctly.

  • Verify andensureall returnedproduct isscanned and returned to stock daily.

  • Communicate with various departments (Transportation, Warehouse, Credit, Inventory/QA) to ensure proper procedures and policies arebeing adheredto.

  • Ensure all route bags are sorteddailyand all the driver's paperwork is verified for accuracy and completeness.

  • Inspect all items upon return toinsurethe items are compliant following our corporate driven food safety guidelines and credit returns policies.

  • Complies withSysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spillsimmediatelyto theirSupervisor.

  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues andiswilling to speak out when hazards are present.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/JobRequirements (About you):

  • 1-year experience in a warehouse environment preferred

  • High school diplomarequired

  • College Diploma an asset

  • Material handling equipment experience is an asset

  • Basicproficiencywith MS Excel,Wordand Outlook
