Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

BOA Builders is looking for a Purchasing Agent to help manage purchasing operations for single-family and multi-family construction projects.

This role requires a high level of independence, organization, attention to detail, and proactive communication. The right person will be comfortable balancing purchasing responsibilities, software systems, trade partner relationships, and coordination across multiple projects.

What defines a successful BOA Builders Purchasing Agent?

The most important deliverables for this position are:

Efficient and Effective Procurement

  • Manage the procurement of materials and services to ensure timely delivery within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and trade partners
  • Negotiate contracts to secure the best prices and terms
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions

Software Optimization

  • Continue software deployment and system maintenance
  • Complete new and review existing takeoffs to maintain material lists
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure accuracy in project management software
  • Continue improvements and procedure documentation in all systems

Pre-Construction Collaboration

  • Oversee project permitting
  • Bid and scope-of-work documentation for vertical construction
  • Budgeting for new homes and communities

Warranty Coordination

What experience and skills are needed to be our Purchasing Agent?

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-Time, W-2 employment.
  • This is an on-site role in Grand Junction, CO, with occasional local travel for site visits, meetings, and material pickup.
  • $60,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience. No commission; discretionary bonus may apply.
  • Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional field visits as needed
  • Benefits include: PTO, 401 (k), phone allowance, 12 paid holidays.
