Warehouse & Inventory Office Clerk

Hadco Metal, a 20-year young, yet well-established and consistently growing distributor of semi-finished metals, best known for our impressive inventory of 20,000+ products and next-day delivery services, is seeking a highly organized and accuracy-driven Warehouse & Inventory Office Clerk to perform and oversee the administrative functions of our 2nd shift operations in Hadco's newest (150,000-square-foot) production & distribution facility in Claremore, OK.

This position plays a critical role in inventory accuracy, shipping documentation, order fulfillment, quality assurance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, advanced mathematical abilities, excellent Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical-grade plastics for the Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Heavy Construction industries (to name a few).

Hourly, Bi-Weekly

Convert sales orders to pick tickets.

Convert pick tickets to pack slips as needed.

Expedite unfinished orders to meet promised delivery dates.

Inspect pick tickets for processed orders and verify all instructions are completed correctly.

Adjust inventory balances to reflect shipped orders.

Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of landing, invoices, orders, or other records.

Investigate reasons for RMA's (returning of merchandise) and determine liability for return.

Print pick tickets, check pick tickets vs. customer purchase orders. Monitor issue manager. Check inventory. Communicate with sales department.

Verify materials being transferred from one branch to another to match requests.

Compile records of unfilled orders.

Post weight and shipping charges.

Adjust errors and complaints about shipped material.

Post totals to inventory records for material and merchandise in stock.

Compare inventory to office records or compute figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.

Compile information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and compute inventory balance, price, and cost.

Adjust inventory in ERP to move from stock to scrap.

Compare physical inventories to office records.

Verify clerical computations against physical counts of stock; adjust errors in computation or count; or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.

Ensure certification forms match material.

Expedite purchase orders to assure proper delivery times.

Other duties and projects assigned.

High School Diploma or GED.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational and time management skills.

Ability to maintain quality standards while meeting productivity goals.

Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks.

Experience working with ERP or similar production, operations, or warehouse/inventory management systems.

Previous experience in a fast-paced and highly administrative role supporting inventory control, warehouse administration, shipping, receiving, or logistics operations.

Experience performing inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
