Job description

Overview

A Manufacturing Assistant is responsible for maintaining all documents and data, using multiple computer systems for the production plant. You will work with data daily and must ensure accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment. This role provides critical capacity support for daily operations and extended weekend production shifts.


Responsibilities
  • Process all manufacturing orders for the Madison plant.
  • Process daily production labor records. This includes auditing operator-entered data, calculating earned hours from labor forms, and entering data into UKG/AS400.
  • Complete daily production performance audits to identify production staff punching errors and standard labor entry discrepancies. 
  • Answer the Madison Plant’s main telephone lines. Relay messages, page personnel, make informational and emergency announcements as needed.
  • Print all forms, documents, receiving notices, labels and summaries as directed.  Print, sort and distribute OT bonus cards when requested.
  • Complete and maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly required paperwork, records, documents,        
  • Purchase and maintain office supplies used in the Madison plant by both Production and General staff personnel.
  • Complete special projects as assigned
