Description
Markey's, a multi-state leading provider of creative audio-visual services, is seeking a Full-Time Inventory Coordinator to add to our expanding operations at our Indianapolis Headquarters. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for receiving and processing inventory purchases, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the rental inventory team. In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy and organization of Markey's equipment while contributing to inventory projects. 
Currently hiring for a Full-Time, hourly (non-exempt) position, eligible for overtime. 

Position Responsibilities
  • Receive and case all purchases.
  • Communicate shipping requests for new purchases
  • Communicate the receiving of all products to the Purchaser.
  • Assist the Inventory Control Analyst with projects.
  • Help the Inventory Repair Technician with projects.
  • Completing inventory projects as assigned by the Director of Rental Inventory Systems.
  • Obtain inventory information for the Director of Rental Inventory Systems and R2 Administrator as requested.
  • Other responsibilities as given by the Director of Rental Inventory Systems.

Requirements
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy with every given task.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of all types of A/V equipment.
  • Desire to learn Markey’s Inventory at a deeper level.
  • Desire to learn R2 (Inventory Control software) at a deeper level.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal customers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Forklift certified or the skill set to become certified.
  • Excellent computer aptitude with the ability to use the Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Office, Teams).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record to be insured on the Markey’s policy to drive company vehicles.
