Maintenance Technician - Luxury Multifamily CommunitySolhaven – Grand Chute, Wisconsin | Full Time
Wangard Partners is seeking an experienced, customer service-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of Solhaven, a multifamily residential community in Grand Chute.  
This position is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property, completing resident service requests in a professional and timely manner, preparing vacant apartments for occupancy, and supporting preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance needs. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Property Manager, other maintenance team members, residents, and outside vendors to ensure the property is maintained safely, professionally, and to a high standard.Primary Responsibilities
  • Complete resident service requests and general repairs involving appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, doors, windows, screens, and other building components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, property inspections, punch-list work, and other corrective maintenance needed to preserve the condition of the community.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and coordinate final inspections with the Property Manager.
  • Monitor buildings, common areas, grounds, pool operations, and life-safety conditions; promptly communicate concerns and needed repairs.
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors as needed.
  • Maintain maintenance records, tools, equipment, supplies, and inventory.
  • Participate in the rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule.
Qualifications
  • Two or more years of multifamily, residential, commercial, or general building maintenance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of general building systems and safe maintenance practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional and service-oriented approach when working with residents and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties associated with property maintenance.
  • Availability for occasional extended hours, weekends, and emergency response.
