Job description

K+S Services (a SunSource Company), the industry leader in repair & refurbishment of manufacturing equipment is seeking a Motor/Servo Motor/Pump Repair Technician for their Taylor, MI facility. Must have experience with the disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing of motors, servo motors, and pumps. Additional experience with feedback devices and motor drives preferred. This position will require the candidate to possess strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting abilities, be familiar with the operation of test equipment used in the inspection and repair process. Must have own tools and the ability to work in a team environment as well as alone.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, evaluation, final assembly and final testing of repair parts.
  • Prepare failure analysis report for each component assembly; prepare test report once final testing is complete.
  • Align feedback devices as applicable.
  • Prep and paint completed repairs prior to shipment.

Required Education and Experience:
  • 3 years' work experience is preferred.
  • Read and follow assembly drawings.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Familiarity of industrial control languages is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral.
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • No lifting restrictions.

On the job training will be provided as required. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
