The Regional Sales Manager, Midwest Region, is responsible for managing sales activities and sales channels for DAB PUMP products within the Pump, Well, Groundwater, and Plumbing markets.

This role is suited to an experienced sales professional with a strong background in territory management, distribution, manufacturer representatives, and technical product sales. The ideal candidate will bring proven industry knowledge and the ability to manage key accounts, develop strategic sales plans, and drive regional growth. The ideal candidate will live near Detroit, Michigan, but we are open to other regional major cities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages and directs manufacturers' representatives.
  • Develop sales and strategic action plans for assigned accounts.
  • Builds, maintains, and manages direct contact and effective working relationships at all levels with key decision-makers and influencing parties at assigned accounts.
  • Creates product forecasts for the assigned region and accounts.
  • Provides product and application training to distributors, manufacturers' reps, and installers.
  • Explain the DAB Proven Process and Unique Propositions
  • Keeps up to date with current and upcoming market conditions and product requirements.
  • Develops, maintains, and manages the proper sales channels that provide access to customers and aligns with the established market sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain profiles for clients, including key accounts, contractors, and end users.
  • Recommend improvements to the product line, new additions, and other areas that may need input.
  • Assists in resolving technical and commercial issues with customers.
  • Strives to meet or exceed the annual sales forecast.
  • Possesses knowledge of sales channels โ€“ distribution, contractor, end-user, specifying engineers, etc.
  • Complete familiarity with the technical and feature advantages of DAB products.
  • Possesses knowledge of pump systems, products, applications, specifications, mechanical/plumbing contractors, and wholesale distribution.
  • Experience in CRM utilization (Salesforce, HubSpot, MS 365, Zoho, etc.)
  • Possesses knowledge of standard pricing and price models.

Education & Experience:

Four-year engineering degree preferred, plus 10 years of experience in marketing and sales, encompassing sales of pumps or related industry products.

Must know computer applications and programs. Should have a strong organizational background and aptitude. Must be able to interpret written and verbal instructions to maintain accurate records.
