Pump Op 1 Wage: $33.00/H
Pump Op 2 Wage: $36.00/H
Pump Op 3 Wage: $39.00/H
Status: Full time, non-exempt
Reports to: Pump Operations Management
Travel Requirements: 100%
Schedule: Depending on utilization but preferred 28 days on and 14 days off including evenings, holidays, and weekends
Work Location: This position requires 100% travel. Work locations will vary between the Permian, Haynesville, Bakken, and Appalachia basins, as well as neighboring states. All new hire training will be based in Zelienople, PA.
Work Environment is non-traditional. Frequent trips to remote job sites will require working in a variety of potentially harsh weather conditions.
Pump Operator
The Pump Operator works alongside the rig or HCU crew with responsibility in respect to the on site fluid pump. This includes but is not limited to rig up/down, operation of the pump, and basic maintenance of DWS owned or leased pumping equipment. You are responsible for mentoring crew members, ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of equipment and to support safe, efficient, and effective field operations.

Duties
Rig up/down of pumping equipment on customer locations. Including, hoses, pump iron, cabling, grounding, etc.
Operating pumping equipment. Functioning of valves, bleed offs, and pumps in a safe, efficient manner.
Knowledge of the direction and pressure of flow lines. Properly releasing and containing pressure at appropriate times.

Taking ownership of DWS equipment. Ensuring all equipment is maintained and stored in an acceptable manner.
Maintain equipment appropriately. Able to check/maintain appropriate fluid levels, filter systems and lubrication.
Maintain a clean work area free from spills, leaks, clutter, or other housekeeping concerns.
Ability to operate forklift and aerial lift in an effective and safe manner.
Must be able to work safely at heights by operating a man lift, scissor lift, and climbing ladders, when necessary, by utilizing fall protection.
Maintain clear, effective communication with the crew. Ensuring awareness of pressure location and valve positioning.
Before beginning any task ensure that any hazardous energy is isolated, tagged and locked out and key(s) are kept with anyone involved in the task. Ensure all pressure has been bled off pumps before starting any services or maintenance.
Monitor, inspect, and adjust all pump equipment during operation and adjust pumping rates as needed/instructed.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills amp; Abilities
Education: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
Experience:2+ years experience in the pumping services environment required and:
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions and high-pressure environments.
Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and produce a negative drug screen.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
  • Stand, walk, and lift tools for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 50lbs – 80lbs.
  • Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Work scheduled rotations at any location (28/14) including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
