Join Tradebe as a Wastewater Treatment Operator and play a key role in protecting the environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, are mechanically inclined, and are looking to build a career in industrial operations. You'll support a cleaner world by ensuring wastewater is treated safely and efficiently.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activites of 2-3 Waste Water  Treatment Operator 
  • Provide work instructions to team
  • Notify Plant Manager of any performance and production concerns on your shift
  • Ensure shift has appropriate coverage, partner with Plant Manager on plant coverage when needed
  • Transfer waste waters from vehicles to tanks.
  • Operate the facility's clarifier and filter-press.
  • Sample tanks and trucks.
  • Operate laboratory instrumentation.
  • Calibrate facility instrumentation.
  • Perform periodic inspections.
  • Keep accurate logs (according to OSHA standards and requirements)
  • Ensure all work follows Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules by complying with regulations, company policies, and safety standards while promoting a safe and eco-friendly workplace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Do you have what it takes?
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Comfortable working independently and outdoors in all weather
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Willingness to obtain a Grade 1 Industrial Wastewater Treatment license (we'll help!)
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
  • Forklift experience and pump knowledge are a plus
  • A current state wastewater license is preferred but not required
