Starting Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour, plus newly increased shift premiums of $2.50/hour for 2nd shift and $1.50/hour for 3rd shift.

JOB PURPOSE: This position is primarily responsible for traveling of finished goods material between production and shipping and/or fabrication. This employee will be responsible of fulfilling any task needed by the shift supervisor and/or lead to meet production needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate forklift, sidewinder, combi, or other equipment necessary to move raw material and finished goods.
  • Ensures traveled finished good bundles are packaged, counted, and labeled correctly.
  • Travel finished goods between Pultrusion and Shipping
  • Deliver any reclaim glass to the Material Prep Dept.
  • Assists with inventory tasks including sorting, labeling, and counting raw materials.
  • Flexible to change tasks at a moment’s notice when asked to do so by the shift Supervisor or Lead.
  • Follows all environmental and safety precautions.
  • Understands all safety data sheets
  • Follows work protocols as required
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Work with others in a cooperative fashion
  • ISO compliant
OTHER DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Observes product inventory to ensure timely production.
  • Positive communication with internal customers.
  • Minimizes waste
  • Effectively communicates production information to subsequent crews.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Competencies and Education
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Works well independently
  • Good math skills
  • Computer skills are a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB: This position requires that the employee be able to perform the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
