DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures the proper and successful selection and implementation of products and services provided by the Company and the principals represented.
  • Supports account manager direction for setting of customer expectations and project completion.
  • Supports sales associate with complex applications and sizing/selection.
  • Ensures that agreed upon customer expectations are met.
  • Operates from customer site for strategic projects.
  • Maintains engineering hour log while working on strategic projects to help quantify the value add service Puffer provides.
  • Applies product and application knowledge to solve customer problems.
  • Participates in the interface with manufacturers, customer, sales and service to provide expertise and direction on proper selection and applications.
  • Understands customer's goals and how the Company provides complimentary value-added solutions.
  • Supports consultative relationships with customer to drive dependency.
  • Educates customer on the full benefit of products, services, and technology and on the proper application of solutions.
  • Identifies additional project opportunities at deployment sites.
  • Provides measurements to integrated work process and assists in benchmarking results.
  • Seeks to broaden scope of supply to cover as many Puffer-Sweiven products as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Knowledge:
  • BS engineering preferred; other degree and minimum 2 years of experience as a Puffer-Sweiven sales associate or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Fisher engineered product offerings and their application.
  • General knowledge of critical service applications and the proper implementation of Fisher Controls product solutions.
  • Detailed knowledge on the operation of Fisher First 2.0 system for engineering and specification of product.
  • Solid industry knowledge; strong business and technical product knowledge; application knowledge required.

Experience/Skills:
  • 3-5 years combined inside sales/outside sales, sales asset management and/or equivalent industry sales experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to be part of the team.
  • Exhibits strong self-management skills to include adaptability and reliability and dependability; creative, innovative; demonstrates strong initiative; highly motivated.
