Job description

Program Overview

Our Homecare Agency Internship Program gives students hands-on exposure to client care coordination, public homecare initiatives, and community outreach. This program is ideal for students pursuing public health, social work, nursing, or homecare administration.

In the Office:

Assist with scheduling and client-caregiver matching.

Support case managers and observe coordination of care.

Maintain client records and assist with compliance.

Collect and analyze client satisfaction surveys.

In the Community:

Participate in health fairs, YMCA/community events, and outreach programs.

Shadow caregiver visits (HIPAA-permitting).

Conduct follow-up calls and surveys.

Distribute wellness resources and connect with local partners.



Learning Outcomes

By the end of the program, interns will:
