We believe technology changes the world for the better! At TP-Link Systems Inc, we are committed to crafting dependable, high-performance products to connect users worldwide with the wonders of technology.

Embracing professionalism, innovation, excellence, and simplicity, we aim to assist our clients in achieving remarkable global performance and enable consumers to enjoy a seamless, effortless lifestyle.

Overview

The Public Relations Manager will be a strategic storyteller responsible for raising TP-Link’s brand awareness and credibility through creative, high-impact communications. This role will craft compelling narratives that differentiate our technology and products, while securing meaningful visibility across Tier-1 to Tier-3 media. Partnering with internal teams and agencies, this leader will drive standout campaigns for consumer electronics launches and thought‑leadership initiatives that advance TP-Link’s voice in the market. Success will be measured through clear PR outcomes including share of voice, sentiment, impressions, and message pull‑through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end PR strategy and execution for new product launches, including briefing timelines, embargo management, and coordinated messaging.
  • Craft compelling, media‑worthy storytelling and differentiated messaging to drive consistent, high-volume coverage that captures top-tier interest and reinforces TP-Link's unique market position.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier-1 to Tier-3 media, expanding the active media pool — with particular focus on outlets and reviewers frequently cited or referenced by AI search/answer engines (e.g., Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity) — to strengthen TP-Link's visibility in AI-driven discovery and search results.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive media guides and briefing materials (product fact sheets, key messaging, spokesperson Q&A, competitive positioning) to ensure accurate, consistent coverage across all media tiers.
  • Manage the product seeding and review program — coordinating sample allocation, tracking loaner units, setting review timelines, and following up with media/reviewers to secure timely, high-quality coverage.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to monitor user sentiment, quickly respond, transform insights into PR actions, and optimize user experience and brand image.
  • Align and integrate PR efforts with companywide goals and cohesive storytelling, integrating cross‑functional resources (marketing, sales, etc.).
  • Measure performance using data‑driven metrics — share of voice, sentiment, impressions, message pull‑through, and increasingly, AI citation/visibility tracking — to optimize results and demonstrate impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field, required.
  • 3+ years of PR experience, ideally in consumer electronics or technology, leading successful media relations and product launch programs.
  • Exceptional storytelling and messaging skills, with the ability to engineer compelling narratives that clearly differentiate TP-Link’s technology in the market.
  • Strong existing network and media intelligence to proactively secure high-quality coverage with Tier-1 to Tier-3 outlets across consumer tech and business press.
  • Proven success driving product launches and thought‑leadership initiatives that elevate brand awareness and credibility.
  • Skilled in PR analytics and performance measurement, including media impressions, share of voice, sentiment, message pull‑through, and business outcomes, with the ability to optimize campaigns based on data.
  • Creative, proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the agility to respond quickly in fast‑moving situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

  • Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (partial coverage for dependents)
  • Contributions to 401k funds
  • 15 days accrued vacation
  • 11 paid holidays
  • Bi-annual pay increases
  • Health and wellness benefits, including free gym membership
  • Quarterly team-building events
