Job description

Position Summary:

The PR & Influencer Program Intern will provide essential support for the influencer program by assisting with targeting, outreach, communications, monitoring influencer activity, and preparing PR mailers. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn the intricacies of PR and influencer marketing and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:


Administrative Work

PR Documents

  • Assist with maintaining and updating PR documents, including sample requests, media coverage, awards, and gift guide submissions.
  • Help keep internal trackers and databases organized and up to date.


Awards & Editorial

  • Assist with updating calendars for upcoming awards, editorial opportunities, TV & gift guide deadlines, etc.


PR Inbox

  • Help monitor the PR inbox, update databases, and respond to inquiries using approved messaging templates.


Media & Influencers

  • Support with building media lists for announcements
  • Assist with creating media and influencer press kits & media briefs
  • Support media and influencer sample request submissions


In-office Support

  • Shipping and keeping the PR workspace organized when sending mailers


PR Mailer Program

Influencer Research & List Building

  • Research and identify influencers and creators who align with campaign goals and target audiences
  • Compile a weekly list of mailing addresses of 50–100+ on-brand influencers.
  • Help maintain accurate influencer tracking documents and databases


Influencer Communications & Content Tracking

  • Assist with monitoring influencer communications and updating campaign trackers
  • Flag influencer responses, content opportunities, and follow-up needs
  • Monitor influencer accounts for posts, stories, and other UGC related to PR mailer campaigns
  • Help capture, organize, and save influencer content in UGC folders and tracking documents


PR Mailer Assembly & Fulfillment Support

  • Assist with assembling and customizing influencer mailers to create a memorable unboxing experience
  • Prepare products, branded materials, swag, handwritten notes, and other package elements
  • Support inventory organization and stocking product for mailer campaigns
  • Assist with shipping preparation, address verification, tracking updates, and delivery confirmations


Campaign & Reporting Support

  • Assist with gathering influencer content and performance metrics for post-campaign recaps
  • Help maintain organized records of past mailer campaigns, creator lists, and results
  • Provide general support on PR projects, launches, events, and influencer initiatives


Percentage of Tasks:

  • 40%: Administrative tasks
  • 60%: PR Mailer program


Hours/Days Required in Office:

  • Hours: Approximately 20–35 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Location: Hybrid: Soho, Manhattan - Wednesday & Thursday in office is required
  • Remaining hours can be completed remotely with flexibility


This Could Be You If:

  • High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program or recent graduate.
  • Up-to-date with evolving trends and social platforms (AKA chronically online!).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities (written and verbal).
  • Efficient in Google Sheets/Excel and Google Drive for tracking and UGC organization.
  • Interest in influencer marketing, Public Relations, brand/community partnerships.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
  • Plus if you are crafty & creative!!!
