Avenue Z is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Public Relations Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of communications strategies, media outreach, reporting, and engagement initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, including technology, corporate, and consumer sectors.
Responsibilities
Client Communications and Program Execution
  • Execute day-to-day public relations programs for multiple clients, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and seamless implementation.
  • Support the execution of campaigns across traditional, digital, and social platforms.

Media Relations and Outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage and amplify client narratives.
  • Track media coverage, identify opportunities, and prepare detailed reports for clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and client mentions to inform and optimize outreach efforts.

Content Creation and Editing
  • Draft, edit, and proofread pitches, press releases, contributed articles, and other client-facing materials.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and resonates with target audiences.

Strategic Support
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop tailored strategies that address client challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on media trends and client objectives.

Project Management
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Collaboration and Professional Growth
  • Participate actively in client and internal meetings, providing thoughtful input and taking detailed recaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, staying updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency or crypto setting.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and client-facing materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with clients and media contacts.
