Are you passionate about French Cuisine, Desserts and Croissants ? If so, we want you to be a part of our vibrant team at Parfait Paris in Liberty Station, San Diego CA! Located inside the Liberty Public Market in San Diego, we are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and serious Manager to help us deliver a top-notch dining experience to our valued customer


Le Parfait is looking for a French Bakery and Pastry shop Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Some of other responsibilities include scheduling shifts for staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and doing the weekly inventory. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee/café shops or restaurants. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our cafe into a favorite local spot.

POSITION AVAILABLE NOW- MUST HAVE WEEKDAYS/HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS AVAILABLE

  • Between $65,000- +$70,000/year
  • $20/hrs + tips ( about $26-$29/hrs)

Responsibilities:

- Warmly welcome and bid farewell to customers

- Enhance sales by recommending our delectable French cuisines and sweets offerings

-Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe with a total of 10 employees (mix of part time and full time)

- Onboard new wait staff and baristas

- Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment, customer service and sales

- Understand the labor cost/percentage and schedule accordingly 

- Do the weekly inventory (like packaging, wines, cleaning supplies...)

- Ensure all shop areas are clean and tidy 

- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service

-Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in basic math
  • Work experience as a Cafe/coffee shop manager
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Be reliable, honest and punctual
  • Have hospitality or food service experience
  • High school diploma
  • Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality, Food manager license) is a plus
