Purpose
This role is responsible for selling the company's software and services while managing and growing relationships within an assigned territory. It involves developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including executive-level contacts, across existing client accounts, while also prospecting for new opportunities.
The position focuses on driving balanced sales growth, expanding account penetration, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. Responsibilities include identifying client needs, presenting tailored value propositions, and closing new business opportunities. The role also supports additional product sales by collaborating with relevant sales teams on proposals and documentation.
A deep understanding of client requirements is essential to deliver high levels of service and support. The position also involves gathering insights on client environments to inform broader sales efforts and requires a high level of professionalism due to regular interaction with senior stakeholders.
Essential Functions
  • Serve as the Regional Sales team point of contact in the absence of the Regional Vice President; co-facilitate regional workshops and coordinate cross-functionally with Services and Client Experience teams as needed
  • Mentor and support less experienced Account Executives to strengthen team capability
  • Develop and execute integrated sales strategies in collaboration with other business units
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities through strategic prospecting and territory planning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular face-to-face engagement
  • Design and implement targeted sales and marketing programs aligned to short- and long-term growth objectives
  • Monitor and manage sales expenditures to ensure alignment with budget requirements
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data, including pipeline, opportunities, activities, and forecasting inputs
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and drive new pipeline creation within assigned accounts and territory
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance meeting preparedness and to streamline sales processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required

Required Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business or sales or equivalent experience or equivalent years in the industry
  • 3 - 5+ years' experience as a successful Sales Executive, including at least two years at or above sales quota selling into Healthcare IT industry
  • 3 - 5+ years with NetSuite or other CRM's
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools, like Copilot, for sales process management and communication cadence planning

Preferred Experience & Education
  • Master's Degree
  • 7+ years' experience in selling into Healthcare IT industry
  • Experience in a software product sales environment
  • Clinisys product and company knowledge

Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required
  • Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; use of fingers; walking/standing 2-6 hours
  • Exposure to hazardous materials or various weather conditions
  • Travel to client sites that can pose risk associated with healthcare organization
  • May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is generally within the range of $75,000 - $100,000 for annual base salary. This position is also eligible for commission. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
