Full Time Job Opportunity General Description

This position is responsible for supervising the analysis and statistical insights in Customer Service Reporting unit of SBG Business Systems & Risk Division. Will also oversee data management from multiple sources and databases, design and develop automation solutions to improve process effectiveness and efficiency.

Directly supervises employees and projects under his/her responsibility and lead business analyst team through deliverable work phases and completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed business analyses that outline problems, opportunities, and solutions for management.
  • Support the preparation of dashboards, reports, strategic plans, variance analyses, and forecasting activities, identifying interdependencies and key performance metrics
  • Perform data management and quantitative analysis using data analysis tools and software.
  • Apply statistical methods and techniques to collect, organize, interpret, and summarizenumerical data into meaningful insights.
  • Maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
  • Collect internal and external data to provide information and recommendations tomanagement based on the business unit’s operational performance.
  • Proactively identify and help prevent situations that may negatively impact departmentalperformance or compliance requirements.
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and variances, and recommend appropriate actions for thebusiness unit.
  • Identify and propose solutions for reported incidents or system enhancementopportunities.
  • Prepare presentations and documentation summarizing analyses for management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has supervisory responsibilities for key special projects and may lead the work of others.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferably.

Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an analyst,data scientist, or similar role that required data analysis and the generation of recommendations or insights to support decision-making.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in team supervision and leadership.
Certifications / Licenses (Nice to have)

Business Analyst Certification

PMP

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

  • Leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritizetasks, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of management, with strong verbal, written, andpresentation skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience in data analysis, data integration, and data validation across multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to develop clear and concise written summaries of business activities and analyses.
  • Ability to collect, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Experience in data storytelling and presenting data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI are required.
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, Cognos, PowerApps, Power Automate, or similar is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
